ABOUT ME

I grew up right here in Richmond, Virginia. When I was 18, my mom moved back to her home state of Maryland. This allowed me to grow more as a person by making me more responsible independent and better with decsison making.

My father is from and still lives in Ghana, West Africa. Being half African is a different culturally. I have traveled to Ghana multiple times and it makes you really appreciate what you have in life. I've realized that not everyone can be blessed with many things in life but there are things you can do to help the less fortunate.

Being a Strategic Advertising major at VCU has opened my eyes to the world of dealing with daily situations. At "Round Two", my place of employment, I have witnessed tremendous growth of a small business. When I started two years ago, "Round Two" was a small operation with just 3,000 followers on Instagram; now we have over 250,000 followers and we have also opened another store in Hollywood, Los Angeles. This was due in large part to the way we have marketed ourselves as a company using a very powerful advertising method. Being right in the mix of all of this growth will hopefully benefit me in my future endeavors.
